Membership & Events Specialist

 

Position Overview

This position serves an integral part of a team servicing multiple clients supporting events, overseeing membership development and engagement, and database administration.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees database administration and implementation 

  • Coordinates the event registration process, including developing and testing online registration forms, entering registrations into database, sending registration confirmations, printing badges, and managing the event shipment. 

  • Provide support to Event Managers such as handling attendee inquiries, preparing a variety of materials, and coordinating logistics with vendors, speakers, and venues 

  • Coordinates with and assists Ngage’s education/events team as needed to support online and in-person program development, production, and delivery 

  • Attend client meetings related to events and/or provide onsite support for conferences when necessary 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience 

  • Strong customer service focus 

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent attention to details 

  • Effective project management and organizational skills 

  • Ability to execute tasks in a thorough, accurate, and timely fashion while managing multiple with competing priorities 

  • Required to travel to offsite locations and venues for trainings and conferences, as needed 

  • Experience with content and project management platforms  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Microsoft Teams; Constant Contact; Zoom 

  • Knowledge and experience with membership databases including YourMembership, MemberClicks, Wild Apricot or other membership databases
