Valerie works in events because she enjoys creating and facilitating engaging experiences for others. Whether she is stage managing a show, hosting a webinar, teaching a craft workshop, or planning a conference, she is the one with the binder, spreadsheets, and clipboard ensuring everything runs smoothly from conception to cleanup. Valerie brings a decade of experience, most recently at a business association where she managed logistics for conferences, webinars, golf outings, and gala dinners. She has a background in libraries and museums, where she planned and hosted events ranging from small story times to painting classes for hundreds of attendees and everything in between.  She also served on the board of TEDxDetroit for 8 successful events as an Executive Producer and the Director of TEDxDetroit Labs. 

Valerie looks forward to building relationships with our clients and creating exciting, engaging events with a focus on education and networking.

• Loves ice cream - both eating and making it! Ask her about the history of ice cream, she's an expert!

• Valerie has been knitting since she was 10, and especially loves making things for family, friends, and community organizations.
