Laura brings more than 25 years of association experience to her Associate Director position and is impassioned about serving others. Her extensive background includes expertise in areas of board governance, accredited education, as well as membership recruitment and retention. Prior to joining Ngage Management, Laura began her career with the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and has since served in several directive roles – each of which have helped shape her strategic leadership style.

With a focus on family and an innate desire to pay-it-forward, Laura values acts of kindness and believes everyone (friends, family, and the clients she serves) deserves attentive care. More than she values recognition or acknowledgment, Laura simply seeks to serve and provide helpful resources and solutions to her clients and fellow humans. She is an active listener and visual learner and feels empathetic to the needs of others. Laura earned her Certification in Association Management and has been a Certified Meeting Planner since 2009; she is currently pursuing her certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Currently, Laura is an active member of the Michigan Chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP), as well as the Michigan Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.

• Lives on a lake and is an avid water-sporter (sans ice fishing)
